A Third Store, a Broken Heart, and the Truth About Support

This was one of the most discouraging weeks of my entire journey as an entrepreneur. Not because the business is struggling. Not because the product does not work. But because of a moment that reminded me how lonely and humbling this road can be.
I had a man old enough to be my father look me straight in the eyes and say, “I do not care that you are a Black woman who created a HEALTHY toothpaste. I have been using C_lg&t3 my whole life and I will not be switching.”
Now keep this in mind. His teeth were very yellow. Not a soft tint. Very yellow. And visibly damaged. Truly a blessing he was not close enough for me to smell his breath because baby… never mind. I will let the toothpaste speak for itself.
What made the moment sting even more was the timing.
This conversation happened while I was celebrating a major win. Harmony Fresh had just entered its third Bravo store. Third location. Third yes. Third door opened. I was standing in gratitude and pride because out of all the people I know, I am the one who owns a toothpaste brand. A real product on real shelves. A toothpaste that whitens teeth, freshens breath, and supports gum health. A product created with intention, wellness, and care.
And yet, in the middle of that joy, I was reminded of a hard truth. Most people will smile at you. Clap for you. Tell you they are proud of you. But when it comes time to truly support you by changing a habit, making a purchase, or choosing your product over what they have always used, many will not.
That realization hurt my heart.
It was not really about toothpaste. It was about understanding that comfort often feels safer than improvement. Familiarity feels easier than growth. People will stay loyal to habits that are clearly not serving them simply because change requires effort.
And still, I believe with everything in me that Harmony Fresh should be the number one toothpaste in the world. Not just because it is mine, but because it is good. Because it helps people. Because the mouth is the gateway to the body and what you put there matters more than we realize.
What grounded me
again was remembering my assignment.
God did not give me this vision so everyone would understand it, agree with it, or switch immediately. He gave it to me to be obedient. To stand strong. To push a product that promotes wellness even when support feels thin. To keep going even when my heart gets bruised.
So I wanted to keep you updated on the real journey. Not just the wins, but the moments that test you.
Harmony Fresh is officially available at Bravo Supermarkets.
4651 Old Pleasant Hill Road
Kissimmee, FL 34758

If you are in Kissimmee, Orlando, or anywhere nearby, please stop by. Walk into Bravo. Find the oral care aisle. Pick up a tube. Not just to support me, but to support your own health and your smile.
Entrepreneurship is not for everyone. That part is true. But I believe everyone should try it at least once. Just remember this. Your heart will get broken. And if you keep standing anyway, that is how you know you were built for it.
If you are ready to switch to a fluoride free whitening toothpaste that freshens breath, supports gum health, and represents purpose over habit, choose Harmony Fresh. Because sometimes the people who refuse to switch are the very ones who need it the most.
